BUFFALO, NY – Rebecca Littler, RN has been named Chief Nursing Officer for the Elderwood service line of companies. For the past five years, Ms. Littler has served as Quality Management Officer, responsible for the oversight of quality in Elderwood’s skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. In her new role, she will lead and direct all clinical initiatives across Elderwood companies.

Ms. Littler has been with Elderwood for 13 years, and is well-known for her commitment and compassion. “We are very excited and fortunate to have this quality individual leading Elderwood’s clinical team,” said Chief Operations Officer, Phil Quillard. “Her name has often been associated with our numerous successes; therefore the position of Chief Nursing Officer was a natural fit.”

With nearly 25 years of experience in the health care industry, Ms. Littler began her career as a Registered Nurse and worked in a variety of roles including Director of Nursing Services and Director of Resident Care & Services. She holds multiple certifications including Certified Infection Preventionist, Quality Improvement Specialist, Certified INTERACT Champion, PRI Certification and CPR Certification.

Replacing retiring CNO Danelle Wotka, Ms. Littler’s experience in leading initiatives, audits and providing hands-on training and education to ensure positive patient and stakeholder outcomes will serve her well in her new role.

Ms. Littler is a member of the American Healthcare Association and the Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation. She and her husband of 23 years have two sons.
